What is a UUID?
A UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is a 128-bit identifier that is unique across space and time. UUID v4 is randomly generated, making collisions virtually impossible. UUIDs are commonly used as database primary keys, session tokens, API identifiers, and more. When they end up in a migration script, the SQL Formatter keeps the resulting INSERT readable.
